About Ardmay

Ardmay House offers schools a unique venue to experience both outdoor adventure and scenic beauty. Situated on the shores of Loch Long, just outside the village of Arrochar, Ardmay House is in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Just 35 miles from Glasgow, this superb location is at the foot of the "Cobbler", one of Scotland's best known mountains, and the awe-inspiring Arrochar Alps.

Once a victorian fishing lodge, built circa 1850, Ardmay House has been comprehensively refurbished, whilst retaining its distinctive character.

At Ardmay House we understand that this may be the pupils first trip away from home and this is why we have gone to great lengths to create a home from home feel, where you can unwind in our relaxing lounge, dining room, or conservatory common room overlooking Loch Long.

Sleeping accommodation is available for up to 60 pupils plus staff in twin and bunkrooms.

All our meals are made at the centre and we offer healthy choices at all times.

Take a look at a MAP of the area to see exactly where we are located.
